STR 600 3D Aligner available now!

As from the beginning of October the all-new Supertracker STR600 3D Aligner will become available which incorporates all the Supertracker features including no run out compensation and the flexibility of being completely mobile and able to be operated in many locations.

With the use of 3D targets the STR600 aligner eliminates the run out function required on other 3D systems therefore saving time and effort through not having to push and pull heavy vehicles to gather initial readings. Another new valuable feature is that the 12 to 24 inch wheel clamps have no metal to metal contact with the wheels therefore eliminating the risk of rim damage. As the 3D targets are electronic free and do not require any maintenance.

This new aligner also has two measuring heads which talk to each other automatically therefore compensating for any level inaccuracy and also include a touch pad meaning the aligner can be operated away from the main console. At the same time LED displays guide the technician to the direction of required adjustments as and when required plus the location brackets on the lift accommodate both short and long wheel base vehicles and there is also a display for battery status information.

New vehicles can be added to the database as and when required and there is also the ability to store twenty thousand customer records and unlike most equipment which receives the ‘usual’ yearly database updates, the STR600 receives four updates a year and also supports a 3D animated ‘adjustment help’ screen.

Finally with the camera fixed to the lift there is no need for a dedicated lift as whether four post, scissor, pit or even Close ups of the 3D system positioned on the floor, maximum flexibility also comes as standard. As the cameras are fixed to the lift this also eliminates the constant annoying interruption of the transmission signals which slow down the alignment process. Of course without the need for the Crucifix measuring system the area volume is also reduced therefore helping workshops with limited space.
